Horizon Care and Education Group provides children’s homes, specialist education and supported accommodation across England, with the aim of supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities to thrive regardless of the challenges they have faced.
The Group runs 47 homes and 8 schools across the UK and their schools follow the accredited HEAL program.
The Project
Horizon chose the consultancy expertise of Atlantic Technologies’ using Salesforce solutions to accelerate their digital transformation. With over 20 years of Salesforce CRM experience, Atlantic implemented Sales Cloud and Service Cloud that benefited 2 distinctive teams at Horizon. Both the business development team and facilities management team had specific needs due to fragmented data collection as a result of excel sheets. The implementation of Salesforce Clouds allowed Atlantic to integrate the Horizon organization into a high-quality data system.
Horizon also had difficulty managing and matching the available spaces at their various sites, to the opportunities to provide care and support for young people, presented to them by local authorities. They needed to increase visibility and tracking of both these elements within and across the various groups of the organisation.
Lastly, there was insufficient reporting for new business vs old business and lack of clarity of the pipe line for the team. The Salesforce Clouds have streamlined the reporting of their business needs in real-time.
The Results

The clarity of Salesforce dashboards enables the user to get a clear and concise measurement of activities and helps make accurate forecasts, ensures greater transparency on the team and meets evolving requirements.
