Welcome Travel Group chooses Salesforce and Atlantic Technologies to redesign the customer journey of the traveller 4.0

The Project

Welcome Travel Group is a network of travel agencies founded in 1999, jointly owned by Alpitour and Costa Cruises.

Welcome Travel Group has embarked on a process of digitalization with Atlantic Technologies. The aim is to respond more efficiently to the growing needs of agencies and travelers, who are connected more than ever before and require fast decisions.

The technology roadmap drawn up by Atlantic Technologies has laid the basis for effective process management and systems integration, aimed at creating a new workflow that combines B2B and B2C activities. The project, in detail, will involve a network of 2,470 agencies that will have their own CRM to manage the relationship with the customer, from Sales to Customer Service to Marketing. The agencies will access all the information related to the end customer and will collaborate effectively in order to satisfy their needs.

The Outcome

Thanks to an agile approach, after only 40 working days it was possible to activate the new platform enabling the first agencies in this new way of doing business.

The result of this important transformation is the entire network of agencies on the Salesforce platform, as well as all company departments from the Network Manager to the Service department. This gives greater value to the agencies, both in terms of data and integration with the platforms of Booking and accounting.
