Oracle JD Edwards is the completely integrated platform that Atlantic Technologies chose as an efficient system in aid of Rovagnati’s needs. The innovative platform provided automated warehouse systems and an implementation methodology able to optimise external logistic operations, financial, shipping and purchasing procedures.
The Project
Passionate and dedicated to the production of high quality meat products, including Gran Biscotto cooked ham, Rovagnati is an established food group headquartered in Biassono, Italy that exports throughout Italy and the world. With an expanding global business, the Company required a more comprehensive ERP system and an enhanced platform able to support sales, distribution, teams as well as its managerial and financial functions. They chose Atlantic for our in-depth knowledge and expertise of the system.
We created an efficient implementation and provided Rovagnati with an infrastructure managed through a single integrated solution thanks to Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
The Outcome
Rovagnati Implemented Oracle JD Edwards for their Financials and Distribution modules in the food producer’s administrative, shipping, and purchasing departments. The ERP suite is also a fully interfaced platform with the automated warehouses systems and with the external logistic operators. Today, Rovagnati has 130 users benefiting from the system that enables full automation and precision. Since the inception of the new solution, they’ve reduced their average monthly financial close time from 80 days to 10 days.
The adoption of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and the efficient implementation methodology has optimised the flow of information across the company’s entities.
