The project
Beautynova, a global leader in professional haircare, manages 10 brands distributed across 70,000 salons worldwide, 24 companies, 2 R&D centers, and a team of around 330 employees spread across 15 offices, including 6 in Italy.
In a context of rapid growth and continuous evolution, Beautynova needed a modern, flexible, and scalable ERP system capable of integrating and managing all business processes across the Group. Another strategic priority was to enhance the company’s data assets through structured analytics. The goal was to introduce an advanced tool enabling faster, more accurate, and more intuitive statistical analysis to support strategic decision-making.
To achieve these goals, Beautynova started a major innovation project in collaboration with Atlantic Technologies. The Group chose ERP True Cloud based on Oracle JD Edwards 9.2. In parallel, Beautynova also decided to adopt Tableau Software.
This transformation project was people-centric: Beautynova placed great emphasis on the human factor, implementing a structured change management process from the earliest stages of the initiative.
The benefits
With the adoption of ERP True Cloud, Beautynova has optimized supply chain planning, reduced complexity, and gained improved process visibility. The alignment of commercial policies now ensures greater transparency and a comprehensive view of operations across the entire Group.
In addition, thanks to Tableau, teams can perform more intuitive analyses enhanced by machine learning features, monitor the sales pipeline and sold items, check product availability, control inventory levels, and plan production more accurately to meet market needs in real time.
To support the technological transformation, the Change Management journey led by Atlantic Technologies fostered strong employee engagement through training sessions and cross‑site meetings. These initiatives enabled professionals at all levels to become fully involved in the innovation journey.
During the United States rollout, Beautynova successfully replicated the Italian model. A dedicated solution was also developed for warehouse management, bringing JD Edwards functionalities to RF terminals and improving productivity and efficiency in logistics operations.
Furthermore, integration with the Shopify platform, managed through JD Edwards Orchestrator, now enables fast and flexible communication, supports high order volumes, and reduces operational times while ensuring excellent service levels for consumers. The same integration will be extended to the Group’s new e-commerce platform in Italy, with go‑live scheduled for March 2026.
