Cloud Technology, the future of business

The future of business in the Cloud Technology will be strongly influenced by three factors: work flexibility, speed, and happiness at work. Read the interview with Marcelo di Rosa, CEO & Founder of Atlantic Technologies and our partners Precursive and Salestrip.

“We are preparing companies with the technology they need now and will need in the future.”

Marcelo di Rosa, CEO & Founder | Atlantic Technologies

Atlantic Technologies hosted an event with two of their key UK partners at London’s iconic building, The Gherkin. With three of the most inspiring thought-leaders from Cloud Computing in one room, we could not resist interrogating them. We spoke to the founders of Atlantic Technologies, Precursive, and SalesTrip about the impact that their companies are having on the rapidly evolving business landscape. Key Insights:

  • The future of work is all about flexibility, as companies look to prioritise happiness, employee productivity, and efficiency.
  • Everyone has to move faster, speed is the currency of business now.
  • As technology reduces administrative roles, people are empowered to focus on the job they are there to do.

How is Atlantic working to shape the future of Cloud Technology?

“Most of our global clients, including manufacturing companies as well as companies like Ducati and TechnoGym, produce a worldwide quality product. Their quest for innovation is fundamental in helping them with new business processes and in serving their clients in much better ways.”

Marcelo di Rosa, CEO & Founder | Atlantic Technologies

“They need a leading platform that will help them keep up with the demand of today, but also prepares them for change over the next few years. This is what Salesforce offers. We are preparing them now with the technology they will need in the future, whilst nurturing their employees through Change Management.”

Speed is the new currency of Cloud Technology business with a fast, flexible workplace

“The future of work is all about flexibility. Companies are moving to a decentralised way of working. The workforce is a combination of permanent staff, freelancers, contract staff, subcontractors, and third-party contractors. The workplace, I think, has irrevocably changed for the better since I started working 20 years ago.”

Jonathan Corrie, CEO | Precursive

Atlantic Technologies’s partner since 2019. Precursive is a fast-growth UK SaaS company that is helping forward thinking companies to create an agile workforce by improving and automating resource management. Precursive works across the Salesforce ecosystem to drive additional value for customers. The CEO believes that cloud solutions as the key to speeding up company processes:

“In the future, we are going to see a breakdown of barriers between teams, companies, and countries. Technology is at the forefront of making that happen. Everyone has to move faster, speed is the currency of business now. Everyone is used to having what they want at the click of a button, and the workplace needs to respond to that. Everyone wants to be more agile, everyone wants to deliver better outcomes. The future is how you get time back to deliver that.”

We will enable people to do more of their job, with less of the admin

“Everybody has limited time and money to spend in the world. Your workforce has an eight or nine-hour day. The intention as a business owner is to make sure your team has the right tools and resources so that they don’t spend 10-20% of their time doing administrative jobs.”

Manoj Ganapathy, CEO & Founder | SalesTrip

Atlantic Technologies’s partner since 2019. SalesTrip is a travel booking, ticketing and expense management system on Salesforce. According to Ganapathy, also in this perspective, the Cloud Technology plays a fundamental role:

“By using innovative business tools to do administrative thinking for you, the user will become more productive, spend the time on their job-role, and have a better work-life balance.”

Happiness is at the forefront of employee productivity, and time is money. As the use of technology rapidly increases, human connection is key. The future of business is emotive. A recent study by economists at the University of Warwick found that happiness led to a 12% spike in productivity, while unhappy workers proved 10% less productive. Positive emotions appear to invigorate human beings.

Our product is Cloud Technology, our job is to translate it into efficiency, support, analysis, productivity, competition and happiness.
